At Camp Northlake, we place a strong emphasis on the spiritual growth of our campers. We believe that the best thing we can give our children is the ability to hide God's Word in their hearts and draw closer to Him through the knowledge of His Word.

Our Mission: Camp Northlake serves as a means of evangelism and service to the St. Tammany community, as well as a form of leadership training for our staff and counselors. Our counselors are all current or former Northlake Christian students.
At Camp Northlake, our summer camp helps build character and great summer memories! Our activities include:
- Character lessons using God’s Word as our standard. Guest speakers will encourage the children in their walk with the Lord.
- Swimming in our 30 foot diameter, above the ground, swimming pools. We have certified lifeguards on duty.
- Field trips
- "Wild Wednesdays" - Karate, Line Dancing, Aerobics, Ballroom Dancing, Olympic games, inflatable obstacle course, etc.
- Air-conditioned movie rooms with big-screen TV's
- Video game room with Playstations, Xboxes, and Wii's
- Air-conditioned game room with various games such as foosball, ping-pong, air hocky, and basketball
- Group competitions that promote team cooperation, strengthen communication skills, and teach campers to follow instructions correctly.
- Outdoor sports, indoor sports, competitions in our air-conditioned gym to improve physical fitness
- Weekly inflatable waterslide
CAMP ATTIRE
- Maroon Camp T-shirts are required to be worn each day.
- Shirts are NOT included in the registration fee.
- Shirts will be sold at our Open House and in our Camp Office for $10 each.
- Camp Shirts can be pre-ordered online and picked up at our open house.
- Maroon camp shirts from previous summers may be worn.
LUNCH
- A nutrititious, kid-friendly lunch is provided through Northlake Christian's on-campus lunch service and is included with camp tuition.
- Snacks will be provided each day at 2:30pm. Your snack is included in your tuition price. Items such as chips, cookies, pickles, etc, (and lemonade or kool-aid to drink) are availabe each day. Limit one snack per camper.
- Lunch Menu will be posted on the Camp Calendar.
SWIMMING
- Campers need a swimsuit each day (ONE PIECE FOR GIRLS)
- Campers also need towel, sunscreen, and flipflops. Please bring one can of spray on sunscreen the first week your camper attends camp. Your camper's counselor will hold on to this for them.
TENNIS SHOES
- Campers must wear tennis shoes every day!
- No flip-flops or sandals (except to go to the pool area)
Please mark all clothing and personal items with your child’s name. It is the Camper’s responsibility to keep up with all items that he/she brings to camp. No toys or games are allowed. A Lost and found table is located near the Camp Northlake office in the Secondary Building.
