Emily Houston
Camp Northlake Director
Emily is a graduate of Northlake Christian Class of 2008. She graduated from the University of Mobile with a degrees in Elementary and Early childhood education in 2012. This is her 18th year at Camp Northlake and she is excited for the best summer yet! During the school year, Emily is a stay at home mom of her four young kiddos and absolutely LOVES being a mom and homeschooling! Emily's favorite part about camp is the opportunity it provides to invest in the lives of the campers and counselors each year! She loves sharing the good news of God's grace and showing His love to little ones each day. Emily assumed the role of Camp Director during the Summer 2017 and is ecstatic to be serving at camp another summer. Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men."
Matt Blair
Camp Northlake Assistant Director
Matt is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University (2013), with a Masters in History (2017). Matt is a graduate of Northlake Christian School, class of 2008. He has been working as a teacher at Northlake since 2015, and is currently teaching 9th grade world geography and 7th grade computer business. He has been married to Holly Blair for seven years, who has also worked at Northlake in the past. They have a sweet one year old baby boy, Samuel. This is Matt’s seventh year as Assistant Director for Camp Northlake. Matt loves chapel every day and enjoys worship with the campers. He is most excited about field trip days and snowballs! “Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it’s own.” –Matthew 6:34
